M7 World Championship

1. Wildcard Stage

Date: January 3rd – 6th, 2026

Venue: XO Hall (MPL Arena)

• Group Stage: 8 teams divided into two groups (A & B) via a random draw.
• Format: Single Round Robin, All matches are Best of 3 (Bo3).
• Advancement: The top 2 teams from each group proceed to the Decider Stage.
• Decider Stage: Matches are Best of 5 (Bo5). The winner earns a spot in the Swiss Stage.

2. Swiss Stage

Date: January 10th – 17th, 2026

Venue: XO Hall (MPL Arena)

• Format: 16 qualified teams compete using the Swiss System.
• Round 1: Determined by a live draw.
• Qualification: Teams must secure 3 wins to advance to the Knockout Stage, while 3 losses result in elimination.

3. Knockout Stage (Playoffs)

Date: January 18th & January 21st – 25th, 2026

Venues: Day 1 at XO Hall (MPL Arena) | Remaining days at Tennis Indoor Stadium Senayan

• Bracket Seeding: * Teams with a 3-0 Swiss record are placed on opposite sides of the bracket.
• 3-2 teams are drawn next; the first two picked face the 3-0 finishers.
• 3-1 teams are drawn to fill the remaining slots against each other or the remaining 3-2 teams.
• Format: Double Elimination bracket.
• Match Rules: * Upper Bracket Quarterfinals: Best of 3 (Bo3).
• All other Knockout matches: Best of 5 (Bo5).
• Grand Final: Best of 7 (Bo7).
