## 1. Stage 1: Group Standings (League Play)

Before the brackets, teams compete in groups (like Group 1) to earn points based on their performance. The ranking is determined by:

• Total Points: The sum of Placement Points and Kill/Performance Points.
• Placement Points (PP): Earned based on the final rank in each match. (Example: In the Apex/Warzone images, teams earned up to 92.00 PP).
• Kill Points (KP): Points awarded for every elimination.
• Wins: The number of maps/matches won by the team during the group phase.

## 2. Stage 2: The Double Elimination Bracket

The playoffs follow a Double Elimination format, as shown in your third image:

A. Winner Bracket (The Upper Path)

• All top-seeded teams start in WB Round 1.
• Winning: If a team wins, they advance to WB Round 2 and eventually the WB Final.
• Advantage: The winner of the WB Final Round goes straight to the Grand Final on May 11th with a cleaner path.

B. Loser Bracket (The Second Chance Path)

• Dropping Down: If a team loses in the Winner Bracket, they are not out; they drop down to the Loser Bracket (LB).
• High Stakes: A loss in the Loser Bracket means the team is permanently eliminated from the tournament.
• The Comeback: The team that survives the LB Final Round earns the right to face the Winner Bracket champion in the Grand Final.

## 3. Match Format & Timing

• Series Length: matches are typically played as Best of 3 (Bo3) in the early rounds, with the Grand Final often being a Best of 5 (Bo5).
• Schedule: As seen in the bracket, matches are densely packed (e.g., May 9th has rounds at 4:20 PM and 7:00 PM).
