EWC26 - OWCS 2026 Midseason Championship

Group Stage

• Format: Two 8-team Double-Elimination brackets.

• Matches: First-to-2 (Ft2).

• Advancement: Top 4 teams per group advance to the Playoffs.

Playoffs

• Format: Single-Elimination bracket.

• Matches: First-to-3 (Ft3), except the Grand Finals which are First-to-4 (Ft4).

Hero Ban Rules

• Format: Each team bans 1 hero per map (bans affect both teams).

• Role Restriction: Opposing teams cannot ban heroes from the same role on the same map.

• Repeat Bans: A team can only ban a specific hero once per series, but they are allowed to ban a hero previously banned by their opponent.

• Ban Order: The higher-seeded team bans first in game one. In subsequent games, the loser of the previous map bans first.
