VCT 2026: Pacific Stage 2

Group Stage

• Teams: 2 groups, with 6 teams in each group (12 teams total).
• Format: Single Round-Robin (every team plays everyone else in their group once).
• Match Length: All matches are Best-of-3 (Bo3).
• Where teams end up based on their rank:
• 1st Place: Advances straight to Playoffs (Upper Bracket Semifinals).
• 2nd Place: Advances straight to Playoffs (Upper Bracket Round 1).
• 3rd & 4th Place: Sent to Play-Ins (Upper Bracket Round 2).
• 5th & 6th Place: Sent to Play-Ins (Upper Bracket Round 1).

2. Play-Ins

• Teams: 12 teams total (8 from the Group Stage + 4 from Regional Challengers).
• Format: Double-Elimination bracket (lose twice and you're out).
• Match Length: All matches are Best-of-3 (Bo3).
• Results:
• Top 2 teams qualify for the Playoffs (Upper Bracket Round 1).
• 3rd & 4th place teams are dropped to the Playoffs Lower Bracket (Round 1).
• Everyone else is eliminated.

3. Playoffs

• Format: Double-Elimination bracket.
• Match Length:
• Most matches are Best-of-3 (Bo3).
• The Exception: The Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final are Best-of-5 (Bo5).
• The Prize: The top 2 teams overall qualify for Champions.
