The opening phase of the tournament utilizes a dual-group system built for high-stakes competition:

  • Group Split: Teams are divided into two distinct groups, with each group containing exactly 4 teams.

  • Bracket Style: Each group operates on a Double-Elimination (GSL) format, giving teams a second chance if they drop an early match.

  • Match Length: Every single matchup throughout the Group Stage is contested as a Best-of-Three (Bo3) series.

  • Qualification: Only the top two teams from each group will secure a spot and advance to the Playoffs.
