Tournament Format

Round Robin Stage

  • Format: Single Round-Robin.

  • Match Rules: All matches are played as Best-of-3 (Bo3) utilizing the Fearless Draft system.

  • Advancement:

    • The Top 4 teams advance to the Knockout Stage.

    • The bottom-placed team is eliminated.

Tiebreaker Hierarchy

In the event of a tie, positions will be determined using the following criteria (in order):

  1. Head-to-head match record.

  2. Total game win/loss percentage among the tied teams.

  3. Overall game win/loss percentage throughout the stage.

  4. Average game victory time among the tied teams.

  5. Overall average game victory time.

  6. Coin flip.

Knockout Stage

  • Format: Single-Elimination bracket.

  • Match Rules: All matches are played as Best-of-5 (Bo5) utilizing the Fearless Draft system.

🏆 High Stakes: The champion's home region earns a second direct bye into the Bracket Stage of MSI 2025.
