VALORANT Masters Madrid 2024

Swiss Stage (March 14th – 18th, 2024)

• Format: An 8-team Swiss System format where teams must secure 2 wins to advance to the Playoffs, while 2 losses result in immediate elimination.

• Match Style: Every single series throughout this opening stage is a Best-of-3 (Bo3).

Seeding & Matchmaking Rules:

• Round 1: Teams are specifically cross-paired against opponents from a different geographic region. Furthermore, each opening match guarantees a localized Kickoff champion is seeded directly against a regional runner-up.

• Rounds 2 & 3: Matchups are dynamically seeded and drawn based on each team’s current win-loss record (1-0 teams face 1-0 teams, 0-1 teams face 0-1 teams, etc.).

Playoffs (March 21st – 24th, 2024)

• Format: A compact, elite 4-Team Double-Elimination bracket.

• Opening Seeding: To reward a flawless group stage performance, the opening round pairs the two teams that finished the Swiss Stage with a perfect 2-0 record against the two teams that advanced with a 2-1 record.

Series Length:

• Standard Bracket Matches: All opening playoff rounds and early elimination matches are Best-of-3 (Bo3).

• The Final Showdowns: Both the Lower Bracket Final and the Grand Final escalate into grueling, maximum-endurance Best-of-5 (Bo5) series to crown the champion of Madrid.
