Six Invitational 2022

Group Stage (February 8th – 12th, 2022)

• Format: The 20 teams are split into four Round-Robin groups of 5. Teams play every opponent in their respective group once.

• Match Rules: All matches are contested in a Best-of-3 (Bo3) format.

• Progression & Seeding:

  • 1st Place: Advances directly to Upper Bracket Round 2 of the Playoffs.

  • 2nd & 3rd Place: Advance to Upper Bracket Round 1 of the Playoffs.

    • Draft Rule: 2nd-place finishers earn the right to select their first playoff opponent from the 3rd-place finishers of any other group. The order of selection is determined by ranking the overall performance and scores of all 2nd-place teams.

  • 4th Place: Advances to the Lower Bracket of the Playoffs.

  • 5th (Bottom) Place: Eliminated from the tournament.

Playoffs (February 14th – 20th, 2022)

• Format: Played under a comprehensive Double-Elimination bracket.

• Match Rules:

  • All standard bracket matches are played in a Best-of-3 (Bo3) format.

  • The Grand Final escalates to a Best-of-5 (Bo5) showdown to determine the world champion.
