🎮 Tournament Format & Schedule

📍 Swiss Stage (June 18th – 28th, 2026)

• Format: 16 teams compete across 5 rounds using the Swiss System.

  • Matchmaking: Teams are paired against opponents with identical win-loss records in each round.

  • Seeding Protection: In Round 1, champions and runners-up from GCS, AOG, and RPL cannot be drawn against each other.

  • No Regional Restrictions: Regional protection is removed for subsequent Swiss rounds, allowing teams from the same league to face off.

• Match Length:

  • Qualification & Elimination Matches: Played as a Best-of-5 (Bo5) series.

  • All Other Matches: Played as a Best-of-3 (Bo3) series.

• Advancement:

  • Teams reaching 3 wins advance to the Playoffs.

  • Teams incurring 3 losses are eliminated.

🏆 Playoffs (July 4th – 19th, 2026)

• Format: Double-Elimination Bracket (with a single, one-off Grand Finals match).

• Ruleset: Global Ban-Pick Rules apply to all matches.

• Match Length:

  • Playoffs Round 1: Played as a Best-of-5 (Bo5) series.

  • All Subsequent Matches: Played as a Best-of-7 (Bo7) series.
