VCT 2024: Americas Kickoff

🎮 Tournament Format & Schedule

📍 Group Stage (February 16th – 25th, 2024)

• Format: Three GSL-style (Double-Elimination) groups.

  • Groups A & B feature 4 teams each.

  • Group C features 3 teams.

• Champions Bye: Evil Geniuses receive a first-round bye in Group C as the highest-placed Americas team at Champions 2023.

• Match Length: All matches are played as a Best-of-3 (Bo3) series.

• Advancement:

  • The 1st place team from each group advances directly to the Playoffs.

  • The 2nd place team from each group advances to the Play-In.

🔄 Play-In Stage (February 26th, 2024)

• Format: 3-team Single Round-Robin group.

• Match Length: All matches are played as a Best-of-3 (Bo3) series.

• Advancement: The 1st place team earns the final spot in the Playoffs.

🏆 Playoffs (March 2nd – 3rd, 2024)

• Format: 4-team Single-Elimination bracket.

• Match Length:

  • Semifinals: Best-of-3 (Bo3).

  • Grand Final: Best-of-5 (Bo5).

• Qualification: The Top 2 teams qualify for Masters Madrid.
