🎮 Tournament Format & Schedule

⚙️ Relegation & Selection Rules

• Flexibility Note: Format structure is subject to change based on the final number of participating Guest teams.

• Worlds Exemption: Any LCP Guest team that qualifies for the World Championship is exempt from competing in the Promotion.

• Maximum Participants: A maximum of 3 Guest teams will compete in the Promotion across two paths:

1. Free-for-All (FFA) Spot Selection

• The lowest-placed Guest team in the LCP overall (regardless of home region) is automatically selected to compete for the FFA Guest spot.

2. Regional Merit Spot Selection

• The second Guest team selected to enter the Promotion for the Regional Merit spot follows this priority criteria:

  • Same Home Region: If multiple remaining Guest teams hail from the same home region (e.g., VCS or PCS), the lower-placed Guest team from that region is selected.

  • Different Home Regions: If the remaining Guest teams are from different home regions, the second-lowest overall placed Guest team in the LCP is selected.

• Domestic Restriction: Teams from domestic leagues competing for the Regional Merit slot cannot contest for the FFA slot.
