The VCT 2026: China Stage 1 tournament is currently underway, marking the first stage of the "Valorant" professional league in China for 2026. This edition holds particular significance as it serves as the main pathway to qualify for the Masters London tournament, and it also paves the way for the biggest event at the end of the year: Champions Shanghai.

Format

Group Stage

  • Dates: March 31st – April 16th, 2026

  • Format: Two groups of six teams competing in a Single Round-Robin.

  • Match Type: All matches are Best-of-Three (Bo3).

  • Progression: The top 4 teams from each group advance to the Playoffs.

Seed Deciders

  • Dates: April 18th – 19th, 2026
  • Format: The eight qualifying teams (the top 4 from each group) face their counterparts from the opposite group in a single match.
  • Purpose: These matches determine final Regular Season placements and Playoff seeding.
  • Match Type: All matches are Best-of-Three (Bo3).

Playoffs

  • Format: Double-Elimination bracket.

  • Match Type: * Most matches are Best-of-Three (Bo3).

  • The Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final are Best-of-Five (Bo5).

  • Qualification: The top 3 teams will secure their spots for Masters London.
