Format

Here is the professional English breakdown of the tournament format for VCT 2026: Pacific Stage 1:

Phase 1: Group Stage (April 3 – May 3, 2026)

The tournament begins with a high-stakes group phase to determine the seeding for the knockout rounds.

Structure: Two groups of 6 teams, competing in a Single Round-Robin format.
Match Format: All matches are Best-of-3 (Bo3).
Advancement: The Top 4 teams from each group move on to the Playoffs.
Seeding Breakdown:
Group Winners: Secure a "Bye" into the Upper Bracket Semifinals.
2nd & 3rd Place: Advance to the Upper Bracket Round 1.
4th Place: Start their journey from Lower Bracket Round 1 (Elimination matches).

Phase 2: Playoffs (May 7 – May 17, 2026)

The action shifts to a Double-Elimination bracket where the best in the Pacific battle for the crown.

The Lower Bracket Final and the Grand Final are upgraded to Best-of-5 (Bo5).
