The FIFAe25 eFootball Mobile tournament brings together the elite players from around the world to officially represent their countries in intense competitions, starting with a group stage in a "double round robin" format to determine the qualifiers. The tournament then moves to the knockout stages in a home-and-away format, with the "golden goal" and penalty shootouts used as the final decider for ties. This edition stands out as the most important global event for the mobile community, merging the skill of touch control with the prestige of representing national teams.
Format
Group Stage (December 10th – 11th)
The competition begins with twelve teams split into two groups of six, determined by a random seed draw.
- Format: Double Round-Robin.
- Match Type: All matches are Best-of-1 (Bo1).
- Points System:
- 3 points for a win.
- 1 point for a draw.
- 0 points for a loss.
- Qualification: The top 4 teams from each group (8 teams in total) will advance to the Playoffs.
Playoffs (December 12th – 13th)
Qualified teams will compete in a high-stakes, Single Elimination bracket.
- Format: Matches are played over two legs, with the winner determined by the aggregate score.
- Tie-Breaker Rules:
- Away Goals: Please note that the "Away Goals Rule" does not apply in FIFAe tournaments.
- Golden Goal Match: In the event of an aggregate draw, a dedicated Golden Goal match will be played.
- Final Decider: If the Golden Goal match remains 0–0 after 90 minutes, the tie will be resolved through Golden Goal Extra Time and, if necessary, a Penalty Shoot-out.
