The FIFAe 25 featuring eFootball™ Mobile tournament is the premier global event that brings together the top mobile players to represent their national teams in professional competitions under the auspices of FIFA. The tournament begins with a group stage in a "double round robin" format (Bo1), followed by decisive elimination rounds played in a home-and-away format with the application of the "golden goal" rule to break ties. This edition blends high-level tactics with touch control skills, crowning the world champion in an exceptional digital football experience.
Format
Group Stage | Dec 10 – 11
The opening phase features 12 teams divided into two groups of six via a random draw.
- Format: Double Round-Robin (Best-of-1 matches).
- Scoring: 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw, and 0 for a loss.
- Advancement: The top 4 teams from each group (8 total) qualify for the Playoffs.
Playoffs | Dec 12 – 13
The final stage follows a Single Elimination bracket to determine the champion.
- Match Structure: Each tie is played over two legs, with the winner decided by the aggregate score.
- Tie-Breakers:
- The "Away Goals Rule" is not in effect.
- In the event of an aggregate tie, a Golden Goal match will be played.
- If the Golden Goal match is scoreless after 90 minutes, it proceeds to Golden Goal Extra Time and, if necessary, a Penalty Shoot-out.
