The BLAST R6 Major Salt Lake City 2026 tournament is the first global and pivotal stop in the 2026 season for the electronic sport Rainbow Six Siege. This event brings together elite teams from around the world to compete in Salt Lake City, United States.

Format

Phase 1: Play-ins

  • Participants: 8 teams.
  • Format: GSL Double-Elimination bracket.
  • Objective: The Top 4 teams secure their spot in the Swiss Stage, while the remaining 4 are eliminated.

Phase 2: Swiss Stage

  • Participants: 16 teams (Direct invites + Play-in qualifiers).
  • Format: Swiss System (Teams with similar win/loss records face each other).
  • Objective: The Top 8 teams advance to the Playoffs. Teams must reach 3 wins to qualify, while 3 losses result in elimination.

Phase 3: Playoffs

  • Participants: The final 8 teams.
  • Format: Single-Elimination bracket (Win or go home).
  • Match Rules:
  • Quarterfinals & Semifinals: Best-of-3 (Bo3).
  • Grand Finals: Best-of-5 (Bo5) to crown the Major Champion.
