Free Fire World Series - Global Finals 2026 is the biggest and most significant closing event of the esports season for the game Free Fire in 2026, scheduled to take place in the Thai capital Bangkok during the month of November. This edition witnesses an unprecedented historical expansion in the tournament system, as the number of participating teams has been increased from 18 to 24 elite teams to represent various regions and compete for the global title.

Format

Knockout Stage (November 6th – 22nd, 2026)

  • Total Teams: 24 teams

  • Format: Divided into two distinct phases.

Phase 1 (November 6th – 15th, 2026 | Weeks 1–2)

  • Structure:

    • Teams are split into 4 groups of 6.

    • Played over 2 weeks with matchdays every Friday to Sunday (6 matchdays total).

    • 72 matches total in a round-robin format (each team plays 36 matches).

  • Standings & Qualification:

    • Top 18 Teams advance to Phase 2, divided into 4 pools:

      • Pool 1: Top 12 teams

      • Pool 2: 13th – 14th place

      • Pool 3: 15th – 16th place

      • Pool 4: 17th – 18th place

    • 19th – 20th Place: Relegated to the Last Chance stage.

    • Remaining Teams: Eliminated.

Phase 2 (November 19th – 22nd, 2026 | Week 3)

  • Structure: 4 matchdays (6 matches per day) where teams compete based on their Phase 1 pool rankings:

    • Day 1 (November 19):

      • Entirety of Pool 1 plays.

      • Top 2 teams advance directly to the Grand Finals.

      • Remaining teams move on to Day 2.

    • Day 2 (November 20):

      • 10 remaining teams from Day 1 + 2 teams from Pool 2 play.

      • Top 2 teams advance to the Grand Finals.

      • Remaining teams move on to Day 3.

    • Day 3 (November 21):

      • 10 remaining teams from Day 2 + 2 teams from Pool 3 play.

      • Top 2 teams advance to the Grand Finals.

      • Remaining teams move on to Day 4.

    • Day 4 (November 22):

      • 10 remaining teams from Day 3 + 2 teams from Pool 4 play.

      • Top 2 teams advance to the Grand Finals.

      • Bottom 10 teams are relegated to the Last Chance stage.

Last Chance (November 27th, 2026)

  • Total Teams: 12 teams

    • 2 teams from Knockout Stage Phase 1

    • 10 teams from Knockout Stage Phase 2

  • Format: 10 matches total.

  • Qualification:

    • Top 4 teams advance to the Grand Finals.

    • Remaining teams are eliminated.

Grand Finals (November 28th, 2026)

  • Location: BITEC LIVE, Bangkok

  • Total Teams: 12 teams

    • 2 teams from Week 3 Day 1

    • 2 teams from Week 3 Day 2

    • 2 teams from Week 3 Day 3

    • 2 teams from Week 3 Day 4

    • 4 teams from Last Chance
