
LEC 2026 Summer
The LEC 2026 Summer (League of Legends EMEA Championship) is the third and final stage of the unified European league for 2026. This stage is the most important and highest in terms of excitement and thrill as it represents the only major gateway for the teams of the old continent to the World Championship (Worlds 2026).
Format
General Rule
- Fearless Draft: To push tactical flexibility and champion mastery to the absolute limit, every single match throughout both the Regular Season and Playoffs will be played under the Fearless Draft ruleset.
Phase 1: The Regular Season

Format: A Single Round-Robin stage where each of the 10 teams plays a total of 9 matches.

Match Structure: Every series is contested in a Best-of-Three (Bo3) format.

Playoffs Advancement: The top 6 teams at the end of the stage advance to the Playoffs:

1st to 4th Place: Seeded directly into the Upper Bracket.

5th and 6th Place: Seeded into the Lower Bracket.

Tiebreaker Hierarchy: If teams are tied at the end of the round-robin, positions are determined using the following criteria (in order):

Head-to-head match wins.

Head-to-head game win percentage.

Strength of Victory (SoV) score.

LEC Spring standings.

Phase 2: The Playoffs

Format: A high-stakes Double Elimination Bracket featuring the top 6 teams from the Regular Season.

Match Structure: The intensity ramps up as all playoff series transition to a grueling Best-of-Five (Bo5) format.
The Road to Worlds 2026
This split serves as the ultimate proving ground for European international representation:
- World Championship Qualification: The top 3 teams emerging from the Playoffs will successfully qualify to represent the EMEA region at the 2026 World Championship.
