The Warzone Resurgence Series 2026 - Birmingham (commonly known as COD:WRS Birmingham) is the first major tournament (LAN) in the new competitive series for 2026 in Call of Duty: Warzone, specifically in the Resurgence mode.

Format

1. Open Qualifier

  • Teams: Capped at 32 teams.

  • Matches: 5 Matches.

  • Progression: Top 8 teams per group advance to the Open Finals.

2. Open Finals

  • Matches: 6 Matches.

  • Progression: Top 6 teams qualify for the Main Tournament.

3. Main Tournament (Match Point Format)

  • Match Point Threshold: 150 Points.

  • How to Win: Once a team reaches 150 points, they become "Match Point Eligible" starting the next match. The first eligible team to win a match is crowned the Champion.

  • Rules:

    • No match limit (the tournament continues until someone wins).

    • No limit on how many teams can reach Match Point status.

    • Remaining standings (2nd place onwards) are determined by total accumulated points.
