The Six Invitational 2024 (SI 2024) tournament for Rainbow Six Siege is considered one of the most important and prominent editions in the history of the game, as it was the largest tournament and the culminating event of the global competition season. For the first time in the series' history, the finals were held in Brazil amidst an incredibly enthusiastic atmosphere.

Format

1. Group Stage (February 13 – 17, 2024)

  • Format: Four groups of 5 teams playing in a Single Round-Robin format.

  • Match Structure: All matches are Best-of-3 (Bo3).

  • Progression & Seeding:

    • 1st Place: Advances to Upper Bracket Round 2 of the Playoffs.

    • 2nd & 3rd Place: Advance to Upper Bracket Round 1.

      • Note: 2nd place teams draft their opponents from the 3rd place finishers (excluding their own group). The draft order is based on the performance scores of the 2nd place teams.

    • 4th Place: Advances to the Lower Bracket of the Playoffs.

    • 5th Place (Bottom): Eliminated from the tournament.

2. Playoffs (February 19 – 25, 2024)

  • Format: Double-Elimination Bracket.

  • Match Structure:

    • Standard Bracket Matches: Best-of-3 (Bo3).

    • Grand Final: Best-of-5 (Bo5) with no map advantage given to the Upper Bracket winner.
