The Super Chess Classic Romania 2026 is the seventh annual edition of this prestigious international classical chess tournament, which serves as the first opening stop of the Grand Chess Tour (GCT) 2026. The tournament is held with the support and organization of the Superbet Chess Foundation, bringing together the elite and strongest 10 players (Grandmasters) from around the world to compete in the Romanian capital, Bucharest.
