The King Pro League Grand Finals 2025 is the grand final tournament and the highest level of professional competition for the game Honor of Kings in China for the year 2025. The tournament was held in-person organized by Tencent in Beijing, and it witnessed a record audience, culminating in the crowning of AG Super Play as the champion after their victory over the Wolves.

Format

Challenge Stage (Sept 28 – Oct 11 | Chengdu)

  • Format: 12 teams split into two groups based on annual Circuit Points. They play a cross-group Single Round Robin (Bo5) with Global Ban/Pick.

    • Master Group (1st–6th seeds): Top 4 advance to Knockout Stage; 5th & 6th drop to Breakout Stage.

    • Elite Group (7th–12th seeds): Winner advances to Knockout Stage; 2nd–5th drop to Breakout Stage; 6th is eliminated.

  • "Masters Rotation" Rule: Master Group teams must utilize all 7 roster members during a Bo5. Upon reaching matchpoint, all remaining players who haven't played yet must be subbed in.

  • Side Selection: Game 1 decided by coin flip; subsequent selections go to the loser of the previous game.Breakout Stage (Oct 12 – Oct 14 | Chengdu)

  • Format: 6 teams play a Single Elimination (Bo7) with Global Ban/Pick + Ultimate Battle.

  • Seeding: The 2 Master Group teams and the Elite Group runner-up are seeded. Master Group teams choose their opponents from the unseeded Elite Group teams.

  • Advancement: The 3 winners advance to the Knockout Stage.

  • Side Selection: Game 1 granted to the seeded team; subsequent selections go to the loser of the previous game.

Knockout Stage (Oct 17 – Nov 2 | Changsha)

  • Format: 8-team Double Elimination bracket starting from the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals (determined by random draw).

  • Match Rules: All matches are Bo7 with Global Ban/Pick + Ultimate Battle.

  • Side Selection: Game 1 decided by coin flip; subsequent selections go to the loser of the previous game.

Grand Finals (Nov 8 | Beijing National Stadium)

  • Format: Bo7 with Global Ban/Pick + Ultimate Battle.

  • Side Selection: Game 1 side selection is awarded to the Upper Bracket Finals winner; subsequent selections go to the loser of the previous game.
