The ALGS: 2023 Split 1 Playoffs is one of the premier global tournaments for the (Apex Legends Global Series), bringing together the strongest teams from various continents to compete offline (LAN) in thrilling matches.
Format
Option 1: Professional & Scannable (Best for documentation or overviews)
Tournament Structure & Format**1. Group Stage (February 2nd – 3rd)
Setup: 40 teams split evenly into 4 groups of 10.
Format: Each group plays every other group in a 6-game series (18 games total per team).
Progression: All 40 teams advance to the Bracket Stage:
Top 20 teams start in the Winners Bracket.
Bottom 20 teams start in Losers Bracket Round 1. **2. Bracket Stage (February 4th)
Winners Bracket (1 series, 6 games): Top 10 teams advance directly to the Finals. The bottom 10 teams drop to Losers Bracket Round 2.
Losers Bracket Round 1 (1 series, 6 games): Top 10 teams advance to Losers Bracket Round 2. The bottom 10 teams are eliminated.
Losers Bracket Round 2 (1 series, 6 games): Top 10 teams advance to the Finals. The bottom 10 teams are eliminated. **3. Finals (February 5th)
Setup: The final 20 teams compete using the Match Point Format.
Seeding: The 10 teams advancing from the Winners Bracket receive Advanced Starting Points based on their bracket placement.
Match Point Rules:
There is no match limit.
Teams become "Match Point Eligible" once they reach a minimum of 50 points.
The first Match Point Eligible team to win a match is declared the Champion.
Remaining teams (2nd–20th) are ranked by their total Finals points.
