The Arena of Valor International Championship 2025 (AIC 2025) is the ninth edition of the prestigious global tournament for the popular mobile MOBA game, organized by Garena in collaboration with its partners.
Format
Group Stage

Team Distribution: The 12 participating teams are split into 2 groups of 6 teams each, drawn from two seeding pots:

Pot 1: Contains the 3 league champions from AOG, RPL, and GCS.

Pot 2: Contains the remaining 9 qualified teams.

Draw Restrictions:

The 3 league champions from Pot 1 cannot be placed in the same group.

A maximum of 3 teams from the same region can be drawn into a single group.

Match Rules: All matches are played in a Best-of-3 (Bo3) format utilizing Global Ban-Pick Rules.

Progression: The top 4 teams from each group advance to the Knockout Stage.
Knockout Stage

Bracket System: Competitions follow a Double Elimination bracket.

Playoffs Round 1 matches are played in a Best-of-5 (Bo5) format.

All remaining matches, including the Grand Finals, are played in a Best-of-7 (Bo7) format.
