The Six Invitational 2018 is the second edition of the annual world championship for Rainbow Six Siege, and is considered, to this day, one of the historical icons in the game's history and in the world of esports in general.

Format

Group Stage (February 13th – 15th, 2018)

  • Format: 16 teams split into four groups of four.

  • Tournament System: GSL-style (Double Elimination Bracket).

  • Progression:

    • The top two teams from each group advance to the Playoffs.

    • The bottom two teams are eliminated.

  • Match Rules: All matches are Best-of-3 (Bo3).

Playoffs (February 16th – 18th, 2018)

  • Format: Single Elimination Bracket.

  • Quarterfinals & Semifinals: Best-of-3 (Bo3).

  • Grand Final: Best-of-5 (Bo5).
