DreamLeague Season 25 is one of the prominent online professional tournaments for Dota 2, and it is part of the third season of the ESL Pro Tour (EPT) series. The tournament took place from February to March in 2025.

Format

Tournament Format

Group Stage 1 (February 16 – February 19)

  • Structure: Sixteen teams are divided into two single round-robin groups of eight teams each. (Group seedings were officially revealed on February 7).

  • Match Format: All series are played as a Two-Game Series (Bo2).

  • Progression: The top four teams from each group advance to Group Stage 2.

  • Elimination: The remaining eight teams are eliminated from the tournament.

Group Stage 2 (February 21 – February 27)

  • Structure: The remaining eight teams compete in a single round-robin group.

  • Match Format: All matches are Best-of-Three (Bo3).

  • Progression: * 1st and 2nd place teams advance directly to the Upper Bracket of the Playoffs.

    • 3rd and 4th place teams advance to the Lower Bracket of the Playoffs.

  • Elimination: The bottom four teams are eliminated.

Playoffs (March 1 – March 4)

  • Structure: A Double-Elimination bracket.

  • Match Format: * The Grand Final is contested as a Best-of-Five (Bo5) series.

    • All other playoff matches are Best-of-Three (Bo3).
