The LCK 2025 Season is one of the strongest elite (S-Tier) tournaments in League of Legends for the professional Korean league, organized by Riot Games studio. This season's competitions are held live in South Korea.

Format

Rounds 1-2 (April 2nd - June 1st, 2025)

Features a Double Round-Robin format.
All matches are Best-of-3 (Bo3) utilizing the Fearless Draft system.
The top 6 teams qualify for the Road to MSI.

Rounds 3-5 (July 23rd - August 31st, 2025)

The 10 teams are split into two groups based on their standings from Rounds 1-2:
- Legend Group: Comprises the top 5 teams from Rounds 1-2.
- Rise Group: Comprises the bottom 5 teams from Rounds 1-2.
Features a Triple Round-Robin format, and team records from Rounds 1-2 carry over.
All matches are Best-of-3 (Bo3) utilizing the Fearless Draft system.
Progression:
- The top 2 teams from the Legend Group advance directly to Playoffs Round 2.
- The 3rd and 4th place teams from the Legend Group advance to Playoffs Round 1.
- The bottom team from the Legend Group and the top 3 teams from the Rise Group advance to the Play-In stage.
- The bottom 2 teams from the Rise Group are eliminated.

Play-In (September 3rd - 7th, 2025)

Features a Double Elimination bracket.
All matches are Best-of-5 (Bo5) utilizing the Fearless Draft system.
The top 2 teams advance to Playoffs Round 1.

Playoffs (September 10th - 28th, 2025)

Features a Double Elimination bracket.
All matches are Best-of-5 (Bo5) utilizing the Fearless Draft system.
The top 3 teams qualify for the World Championship.
Special Condition: If Gen.G Esports (the MSI Champion) finishes in the top 3, the 4th place team will qualify for Worlds as the 4th seed from the LCK.
