
EPICENTER XL
The EPICENTER XL tournament is one of the prominent Major official tournaments in Dota 2 during the (Dota Pro Circuit 2017/2018) season. The tournament was held in person in the Russian capital, Moscow, organized by Epic Esports Events, and featured 12 teams from the elite global teams competing for a prize pool of $1,000,000, along with direct qualification points for the major world championship The International 2018.

Qualifiers & Invites

Twelve Teams: Five direct invites and six teams from regional qualifiers.

Regional Spots: One team from each region: Europe, CIS, China, Southeast Asia, North America, and South America.

Madness Qualifier: One team from the Madness Qualifier.
Group Stage

Two groups of six teams each.

Single round-robin with Best-of-3 (Bo3) matches.

Playoff Advancement: The top two teams from each group advance to the Upper Bracket of the main event.

Lower Bracket Advancement: The 3rd and 4th placed teams advance to the Lower Bracket.

Elimination: The bottom two teams from each group are eliminated.
