Format

Format & Schedule

  • Double Elimination Stage (Nov 20–21, 2025)

    • Format: Double-Elimination Bracket.

    • Match Length: Best-of-3 (Bo3) until the Top 192 teams, then transitions to Best-of-5 (Bo5).

    • Advancement: Top 32 teams advance to the Swiss Stage.

  • Swiss Stage (Nov 22, 2025)

    • Format: 32 teams split into two 16-team Swiss-system groups.

    • Match Length: All matches are Best-of-5 (Bo5).

    • Advancement: Top 8 teams from each group (16 teams total) advance to the Group Stage.

  • Group Stage (Nov 27, 2025)

    • Format: 16 teams divided into two GSL groups of 8.

    • Match Length: All matches are Best-of-5 (Bo5).

    • Advancement: Top 4 teams from each group (8 teams total) advance to the Playoffs.

  • Playoffs (Nov 28–29, 2025)

    • Format: AFL Final Eight bracket format.

    • Seeding Advantage: Top 4 teams from the Group Stage start in the upper bracket (two chances before the Final Four), while teams ranked 5th–8th start in the lower bracket (single-elimination path).

    • Match Length: All matches are Best-of-7 (Bo7).
