MPL MENA Spring 2023 – Tournament Format

1. Team Qualification (8 Teams)

  • Top 2: Qualified from Previous Season

  • Top 2: Qualified from Egypt Server

  • Top 4: Qualified from Gulf Server

2. Regular Season (March 23 – April 29, 2023)

  • Format: Single Round-Robin

  • Match System: All matches are Best-of-3 (Bo3)

  • Points Distribution:

    • 2–0 Win: 3 points

    • 2–1 Win: 2 points

    • 1–2 Loss: 1 point

    • 0–2 Loss: 0 points

  • Advancement: The Top 4 teams advance to the Playoffs.

3. Playoffs (May 11 – May 13, 2023)

  • Format: Double Elimination Bracket

  • Starting Position: All qualified teams start in the Upper Bracket

  • Match System:

    • Grand Finals: Best-of-7 (Bo7)

    • Lower Bracket Final: Best-of-5 (Bo5)

    • All Other Playoff Matches: Best-of-3 (Bo3)
