Format

MPL Cambodia Season 6 – Tournament Format

1. Regular Season (March 23 – April 28, 2024)

  • Format: Single Round-Robin

  • Match System: All matches are Best-of-3 (Bo3)

  • Points Distribution:

    • 2–0 Win: 3 points

    • 2–1 Win: 2 points

    • 1–2 Loss: 1 point

    • 0–2 Loss: 0 points

  • Advancement: The Top 6 teams advance to the Playoffs.

2. Playoffs (May 16 – May 19, 2024)

  • Format: Hybrid Elimination Bracket

  • Round 1 (Play-ins):

    • Teams seeded 3rd to 6th compete in a Single Elimination round.

  • Round 2 (Double Elimination):

    • Teams seeded 1st and 2nd receive a round bye directly into Round 2.

    • The 1st seed team gets to choose their preferred matchup against one of the Round 1 winners.

  • Match System:

    • Grand Finals: Best-of-7 (Bo7)

    • All Other Playoff Matches: Best-of-5 (Bo5)

3. Qualification

  • The Champion qualifies directly for MSC 2024.
