Format

MPL Cambodia Autumn 2023 — Tournament Format

Regular Season (August 12 – September 24, 2023)

  • Format: Single Round Robin with all matches played as Best-of-3 (Bo3).

  • Points System:

    • 2–0 Win: 3 points

    • 2–1 Win: 2 points

    • 1–2 Loss: 1 point

    • 0–2 Loss: 0 points

  • Qualification: The top 6 teams advance to the Playoffs.

Playoffs (October 5 – October 8, 2023)

  • Format: Hybrid Elimination

    • Round 1 (Play-ins): Single Elimination between the 3rd to 6th seed teams.

    • Round 2 Onwards: Double Elimination featuring the 1st and 2nd seed teams, who receive a direct bye to this round.

    • Bracket Seeding Right: The 1st seed team from the Regular Season gets to choose their match opponent from either Play-in winner.

  • Match Rules:

    • All Playoff matches are Best-of-5 (Bo5).

    • The Grand Final is a Best-of-7 (Bo7).

Stakes & Qualifications
  • The Champion earns direct qualification to both the M5 World Championship and MPLI 2023.
