An official continental tournament organized by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) in collaboration with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) as the final qualifying stage for the Asian region for the FIFAe World Cup 2026.

Format

Group Stage

  • Format: Single Round-Robin among 8 nations; all matches played as Series of 2 (So2).

  • Semifinal Qualification: Top 2 nations advance directly to the Knockout Stage Semifinals.

  • Quarterfinal Qualification: 3rd to 6th place nations advance to the Knockout Stage Quarterfinals.

  • Elimination: Bottom 2 nations (7th and 8th) are eliminated.

Knockout Stage

  • Format: Single-Elimination bracket with Best-of-7 (Bo7) matches.

  • World Cup Qualification: Both Semifinal winners secure direct qualification for the FIFAe World Cup 2026.

  • Secondary Paths: Semifinal losers move to the 2nd Chance Final; the winner of the resulting 3rd Place Match earns a spot in the Intercontinental Playoff.
